Dr Matthew Barekat is Resultancy's founder and managing partner.  His background is in industrial management, manufacturing, logistics and the high technology sector.  His industry experience spans Christian Salvesen Plc, Reemtsma GmbH in Germany and BT Plc.  Matthew started his management consulting career with Deloitte Haskins & Sells as a senior manufacturing and logistics consultant.   He then joined Stoy Hayward consulting as the UK manager of manufacturing & logistics practice.   At PRTM, the US based operations management consultancy, he was a Principal in their UK/European high technology operations management practice.  He holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering, MSc in Production Technology & Management and a PhD in management information systems. He  is a leading leadership development and Lean business coach. He has a Diploma in in use of Hypnosis and NLP techniques to resolve internal conflicts to improve management effectiveness.  Dr Barekat is a member of the European Corporate Governance Institute ECGI, the Institute of Directors IOD and the International Association of Counsellors and Therapists IACT

Dr Barekat  is a Master coach in Lean business leadership and a Master Lean trainer.   He is the author of Resultancy's Plain English Lean Education and Mentoring program. Dr Barekat is a guest University lecturer in Lean Operations Management and he lectures in Mastering the art of effective Management Consulting. As a key note conference and corporate events speaker, he empowers audiences with his no-nonsense Plain English presentation style. And motivates individuals to positively engage with others to overcome business and personal challenges.  Dr Barekat is a leading master trainer in the Art of Intuition as a business development tool. 

His corporate events demonstrations demystify intuition as a management skill.  Dr Barekat believes Intuition is a survival skill that is passed on as genetic memory from one generation to the next.  His DNA of Intuition themed conferences engage the audience to participate in live demonstrations of Group Intuition as a powerful source of wisdom.   He works internationally as an expert in corporate application of Intuitive Intelligence. Over a 20 year period of research and practice he has developed the most effective and powerful one-on-one and team based training technique for creating a Corporate Intuitive Intelligence Capability or [CIIC]. William Baron MBA  is our small to medium sized business coaching and mentoring partner.  William is a renowned entrepreneurs' coach and mentor. He became a coach after successful career in the high tech engineering sector including a period as technical executive at Rolls Royce. He is also a successful entrepreneur. He has coached many small to medium sized executives and has a track record of success in helping start ups to achieve their business and personal life goals.

 

David Blakeley is our information and communication technology partner. His background is in analysis, design, development and implementation of web, internet and relational database technologies.  His experience includes working for companies such as Unilever, Oracle amongst others.   David is an honours graduate in cybernetics.  He is a Chartered Engineer, Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Institute of Directors.

 

Paul Brasington is our corporate communications partner. Paul graduated with first class honours at Cambridge University. He worked on academic research at Cambridge before moving to industry and communications consultancy, including the Publicis group.  Paul is a fellow and a former president on the British Association of Communicators in Business.

 

Dr Stephen Castell CITP is our lead partner in information technology.  Dr Castell is an internationally acknowledged computer expert, consultant and project manager, with extensive experience in risk assessment, quality assurance, and insurance and dispute resolution considerations, in regard to complex and large-scale IT systems investment, contracts, implementation projects and operations.  As a globally renowned Expert Witness in computer disputes he has been involved in a wide range of IT systems development/installation, IP (e.g. patents, copyright, trade secrets), and data forensics litigation.  He is widely published, and a Correspondent of the Computer Law and Security Report.  His seminal paper “Forensic Systems Analysis: A Methodology for Assessment and Avoidance of IT Disasters and Disputes” was published as a Cutter Consortium Executive Report.

Dr Castell has built multimillion pound businesses in voice and data communications, and in broadcasting, information and software services.  In the early 1980s he was a pioneer of the Over The Counter Market in the UK, responsible for assessing several hundred high-tech and telecommunications companies in a 5-year period, in preparing their flotation prospectuses, and serving as Non-Executive Director.  In 1982, he was founder Technical Director of the venture capital funded International Communications Technology Holdings SA, based in Luxembourg and listed in London, and was Chairman of its UK subsidiary Telephone Broadcasting Systems plc.

 

Heather Kinsey, is an associate partner with generalist expertise and excellent strategic, planning and problem solving abilities.  Additionally her extensive board level experience of facilitating the expansion of organisations and services enables her to assist in the process of implementing robust strategies. Her experience in the private sector spans Plcs through to SME. She has spent the majority of her management career in service organisations and she has specialised in commercial development where her experience has encompassed the marketing, sales and customer service functions.

Her strong personal drive and tenacity together with her record of managing change and innovation in markets and delivery channels gives her a focus on impact and results. She has an established track record of success in assisting senior executives to achieve their business goals through coaching and mentoring. The Iod Diploma in Company Direction allied with her wide ranging management and consulting experience enables he to offer a broad perspective on company culture and financial development.

Heather's clients include Insurance4carhire Ltd, advising on business strategy and marketing, Salt PR Ltd, providing business and management coaching,  At Fifth Column Ltd, she assisted with their business strategy and planning and at Ducane Housing Association her project included process mapping and business process engineering in preparation for ISO 9001 certification. At TUI, the Adventure Travel Company, Heather acted as an interim MD where she restructured the management team and revised their business strategy and development of a new budget.

 

Dexter Kirk MBA is our lead partner in retail and clothing.  Dexter is a seasoned general manager with a marketing background.  He has held senior positions with multinational companies such as Levi Strauss and Coats Viyella. His operational experience includes sales and marketing, operations, management accounting, IT and HR, across markets in the UK, US and Asia Pacific regions.

 

Dr Laurence Lyons is our lead partner in coaching. A pioneer in the field of executive coaching, organizational development & change management  Highly experienced strategist and personal business coach to Who’s Who listed and Fortune 500 senior executives. Architect of major organizational initiatives, he works with individual leaders and teams to develop strategic, cultural and interpersonal change directed towards business success.  He designs, resources, and implements large-scale leadership and change programmes.  He holds a Ph D. in organizational analysis and an MSc in management and is a member of associate faculty at Henley Management College, where he is Director of Research of the Future Work Forum. He is also a member of the Peter F. Drucker Thought Leaders’ Forum and a member of the International Advisory Committee of the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches WABC. he is the co-author of the seminal book Coaching for Leadership.
 

Leslie McCune MBA is our chemical industry partner.  Leslie has over 20 years of strategic and operational experience in the global B2B markets, principally in the chemicals, automotive and material handling.  He advises major chemical multinationals.

 Tony Probert FRSA is our web technology partner.   Tony has extensive experience in web design and intuitive e learning products that enhance and accelerate personal training and professional development.

 

Andrew Richardson CEng, FIMechE is our strategy implementation partner. Andrew spent his early career in the automotive sector including  Robert Bosch and Cummins Engines.  He has held senior positions with GEC, where he turned round   two companies, Glynwed and Rolls-Royce where he led the sale process for three businesses.  Andrew is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.  Having spent much of his career in France, he is fluent in French and familiar with the French business environment.

 

Ian Robert is our business turnaround and corporate restructuring partner.  Ian has over 18 years experience in corporate and personal recovery. He is a licensed insolvency practitioner. Ian started his career at BDO Stoy Hayward.  He then joined RSM Robson Rhodes when he undertook a number of banking assignments including IBRs, ISRs and receivership work, including a year with the corporate recovery and advisory arm of a major UK clearing bank. Ian is now a partner at Kingston Smith & Partners LLP where he has been for over 7 years.  He has experience in all forms of insolvency, but specialises in finding practical solutions to rescue businesses, whether by means of restructuring or formal insolvency procedures. He is a fellow of the ICAEW, and a member of R3

 

Syd Symonds is our financial planning and investments partner.  Syd started his finance career with National Westminster Bank.  He then joined the information technology sector specialising in software applications for City banks and specialist financial institutions. At Imperial Life of Canada – now Laurentian Life – he became a Life Assurance Consultant.  As an Independent Financial Adviser Syd broadened his expertise with Hightree Financial Services, Adams Financial Planning and now is a IFA and Principal at Northwood Symonds Ltd

 

David White is our lead partner in finance.  David started his accounting career with Wellden, Legg and Co, based in Cobham (Surrey).  Moving on to the London West End practice of Patience King and Co.  David then joined Charterhouse (Accountants) LLP a firm of chartered accountants based in Harrow.  After a spell as the audit manager, he became a full equity partner in 1992.  David draws upon the expertise of his fellow partners and staff at Charterhouse to provide audit, accounting and tax services. He is committed to building up a trusting and lasting relationship with all clients however, big or small. David is a member of the Institute of Financial Accountants.
